Path through the woods

Because of the wetness of the course we're trying to avoid heavy traffic on it so the path through the bog has been re-stoned, this takes about 12 tonnes of stone to complete
Stone being brought in & laid

How the path looks now

Top dressing

A 30 tonne load of top dressing being delivered, this will cover all the greens once, weather permitting, we always aim to do a heavy top dressing in Spring to help true the greens up.

Shelter Painting

Phil Robertson taking advantage of a break in the weather to put a fresh coat of paint on one of the shelters
Once I've got it painted I can get my bed in there...

More Work from Last Week

The fairway on the 14th fairway has been tined and over-seeded where it was looking bare, this should start to look better as the weather improves

Last Week

Quite a lot of work carried out last week, pictured below is some of what went on...

The path on the 6th has now been finished, with the edging done, it now is starting to look better...

The seat and ball cleaner have been moved down to the medal tee on the 6 tee, unfortunately the local tramp has already found it!!

2 Old Coots

Coots spotted on the new 17th tee (or are they moorhens?)

Pesky Rabbits!!

Rabbit damage on the 17th tee, this was done by the 4 legged variety, not the golfing kind! The damaged area needed to be lifted, levelled and repaired with fresh turf

Feeding the Greens

The greens are in the process of being fed with a spring feed, here we see Julian applying the feed to the 17th green
What concentration!
